As an Amazon Associate, Janet Media Group earns from qualifying purchases.

If you click a product link on this site and buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same whether you arrive through us or type the product name into Amazon yourself.

That commission is what funds the site. There is no paywall, no newsletter to buy into, and no sponsored content.

Every product link on this site goes through our own address first — a link that looks like /go/gopro-hero13-black rather than pointing straight at the retailer. That redirect adds our Amazon Associates tracking tag and sends you on to the product.

There are two reasons it works that way, and neither is about tracking you:

• It means a destination can change in one place. If a product moves, goes out of stock permanently, or becomes available somewhere genuinely better for the reader, we change one line rather than hunting through dozens of articles.
• It lets us count clicks per product so we know which recommendations people actually find useful. We do not see who you are, what you bought, or anything about you personally.

Every earning link is marked rel="sponsored nofollow", which is what Google asks publishers to do, and every buy button on the site carries an #ad label linking back to this page.

Prices on Amazon change constantly — sometimes several times a day. A price typed into an article is wrong within a week and stays wrong for as long as nobody notices.

So the buttons on this site say “Check price on Amazon” and take you to the current listing. When a live price feed is connected to the site, the number appears inside the button with the date it was read — and if that feed ever stops updating, the numbers disappear on their own after 48 hours rather than sitting there going stale. The failure mode is silence, not a wrong number.

The same rule covers discounts and deals: we do not publish a sale claim we cannot verify, and we do not run year-stamped deal pages that rot.

It does not decide what we recommend, or in what order. The ranking on every roundup comes from the published rubric on that page, and the rubric is about whether the product survives the water, holds on the mount and lasts the day.

It does not make a cheaper option disappear. Where a less expensive product is the better buy for a particular reader, it is in the list and labeled that way.

We do not take payment for placement. No manufacturer has paid to be on this site, sent us a product, or supplied copy. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page itself, not buried here.

At launch, Amazon is the only retailer we earn commission from. That is the normal state for a new site: affiliate programs take time to join, and we would rather link somewhere that works than wire up a program we have not been accepted into.

Some pages link to a manufacturer's own store — GoPro, DJI, Insta360, RAILBLAZA and others — where that is genuinely the most useful destination. Those are plain links. We earn nothing from them, and that is the point of mentioning it.

If we join another program later, this page will say so and the links will be marked the same way the Amazon ones are.
